Be still river.

Mist belies

The torment

At the other side

 

Cool your ebb

Upon your

Flow and ease

My wafting way.

 

Be still river,

Life and wait

And let my soul

Abide.

 

Calm for me

A silted shoal

To pass

The other side.

 

Be still river.

Soothe

And

Say.

 

And pray

My pass

Upon

The way.

 

And if

An angel

Hears

Me cry,

 

My

Moment

Freezes

Still.

 

Release me

To a gentling sky

Beyond

Life’s windowsill.

 

But be still, river.

Time, she waits

And Time

Is fairly gone.

 

Wade me

Peacefully across

Betwixt the here

And yon.

 

Be still river.

Soothe

And

Pray

 

I make

My pass

Upon

The way.
